Help File and other wish list items

Hi There. English POTA admin here. Fine bit of software by the looks of it, having just installed it on Windows 10. I have a few wish list items for consideration.

Help file to include file locations of ADIF export, how to’s etc. I’m pretty handy with finding things but folks might want to put logs/exports in places other than in their profile.
The ability to set the log path and the ADIF export path (related to above).
Install the software into C:\Program Files. I know where it is now (buried in the windows profile) but took me a while to find it.

Well done on the project so far.

I had no idea it was doing this. I assumed it was asking you where you want to save the file. That’s what I get for assuming. I’ll check it out and see what I can do. Thanks for the head’s up!

Hi Jarret, I just installed 0.9.9 over the top of previous (0.9.8). Log file ADIF export now prompting for file location, but install is automatically proceeding straight into profile location.

So I fixed one thing but not the other. Sounds about right :slight_smile: I’ll see what I can do about installing it into C:\Program Files
