I’m using HamRS version 0.11.4 (0.11.4) on macOS 11.5.1. I just installed this new version, and thought I’d look under the “Help” menu to see if there were, e.g., release notes or something.
It seems that the Help menu is just populated with some default behavior that takes you to information about Electron (which seems like a good choice for implementation technology), but nothing about the application itself.
I think having it behave this way isn’t useful to most people and probably just confusion. It would be great if there was an easy link back to this web site, and perhaps a menu item somewhere that would provoke a check for new versions.
