There have been a lot of requests for file syncing (including myself) and importing ADI files. Instead of finding a way for users to sync between multiple devices using services like iCloud, Firebase, etc.,
What about letting users decide where to save their log files? That would allow for a user to choose a local location or a file syncing service. If someone is fully entrenched in the Apple ecosystem, that would allow them to store file in their iCloud drive. Others could use a service like Dropbox or Google Drive. Allowing save locations, where a user could select a location in iCloud, Dropbox, etc., would (in effect) give them a syncing logbook.
I know there can be some “strangeness” that goes on if the local file gets modified before the cloud version can sync, and maybe that’s a big enough issue that makes it a deal breaker, but this might be an easier way to “sync” between devices.
