Being new to this group I’m not sure if this has been suggested or delivered already but here’s my suggestion.
Often times I’m at a park with cellular data service available that I am able to connect my cellular enabled laptop, but sometimes I’m not. It these times I wish there was a way that I could load a offline database of all the hams so when I don’t have cellular data service I could input the contact callsign and it would populate their name, city and state.
I’m told JT alert for FT8 has such a database that stored locally.
Does such an option currently exist with HAMRS. Otherwise I really like the ease with which the program works.
