I did my first POTA activation yesterday, using HAMRS for the first time. Except for my own mistaken hitting of the Return key a few times (creating false entries which I deleted later), it worked very well! But many hunters give their states, and I saw no easy way to enter them. I stuck them in “comments,” but that did not populate the “states” column in the log. Others have requested adding a “state” entry button in the HAMRS POTA log. I endorse that request, please. Is there another good way to enter states as I log POTA QSOs? 73 - Rich, K1DJ
Under Settings, activate Expanded Mode and you will see additional fields in all sections, including the State for the other party.
