When I was activating the park which was today 2-17-2023 park K-0845 Manzanar. But on my Logbook entry the date showed 2-18-2023 and I can’t change it. Why does it do that???
The logbook is showing you UTC. I am not sure if the park is in Mountain (UTC -7:00) or Pacific time (UTC -8:00).
If you are in the Pacific Time zone, anytime after 4 pm is the next day at UTC. Mountain time will convert to the next day after 5 pm.
The reason why you want your logbook to show UTC is that when you talk overseas, or just across time zones, everyone has the same date and time for the contact.
