a possible short term implementation (at least for iOS) would be to mimic what HamLog did, which was to give access to the files. This is how you manage files in HamLog… just plug your iphone / ipad into your computer, then navigate to the files section, then there is a HamLog section, with all of your log files there. you can copy / paste to your heart’s content.
