I have this problem also.
Bug has been closed. What is the fix?
I solved the problem by changing a Kindle setting as follows:
Go to the Kindle Home screen
Tap Settings
Tap Keyboard & Language
Tap Current Keyboard Settings
Turn off Auto-capitalization
After those steps I haven’t had any further issues. Good luck.
